World Bee Day
World Bee Day is celebrated on May 20th every year. It was designated by the United Nations to raise awareness of the importance of bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy, and on the many challenges they face today.

Why is World Bee Day Celebrated
To recognize the critical role bees play in maintaining biodiversity and supporting food production.
To raise awareness of the threats bees face, such as intensive farming practices, pesticides, and climate change.
To promote solutions to problems raised to the global food supply and hunger in developing countries.
